Care & Maintenance

Built to last for decades, your modular furniture deserves simple, consistent care. These guidelines help preserve its finish, functionality, and appearance for years to come.

Everyday care

For regular cleaning, wipe all surfaces with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.

For a deeper clean, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with warm water or a mild pH-neutral soap solution. Always wipe the surface dry with a clean cloth afterward.

Recommended

  • Soft microfiber cloth
  • Warm water
  • Mild pH-neutral cleaner
  • Soft cotton cloth

Avoid

  • Abrasive sponges or scouring pads
  • Steel wool
  • Powder cleaners
  • Strong solvents
  • Acetone or paint thinner
  • Bleach or ammonia-based cleaners

Powder-coated panels

The powder-coated steel panels are highly durable and designed for everyday use. To keep them looking their best:

  • Clean with a damp microfiber cloth.
  • Remove spills as soon as possible.
  • Use only mild cleaning solutions.
  • Always dry the surface after cleaning.

Avoid sliding metal, ceramic, or rough objects directly across the panels, as this may cause scratches over time.

Chrome frame

The precision chrome frame requires very little maintenance. To maintain its shine:

  • Wipe regularly with a dry microfiber cloth.
  • Remove fingerprints with a damp cloth.
  • Dry immediately to prevent water spots.

Do not use abrasive metal polish or harsh chemicals.

Glass panels

Clean glass using a standard glass cleaner sprayed onto a microfiber cloth — not directly onto the furniture.

This prevents excess liquid from entering joints and connectors.

Living with it

Preventing scratches

Although the finish is exceptionally durable, proper care helps maintain its appearance. We recommend:

  • Using felt pads beneath decorative objects.
  • Using coasters under drinks.
  • Placing desk mats beneath laptops and accessories.
  • Lifting objects instead of dragging them.
  • Keeping sharp tools away from finished surfaces.

Spill care

Accidents happen. If liquids such as coffee, tea, wine, juice, or water are spilled:

  1. Blot immediately.
  2. Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth.
  3. Dry the surface thoroughly.

Do not allow liquids to remain on the furniture for extended periods or seep into joints.

Loading recommendations

For maximum stability and longevity:

  • Distribute weight evenly across shelves.
  • Store heavier items on lower shelves.
  • Avoid exceeding the recommended shelf or drawer capacity.
  • Never stand, climb, or sit on the furniture.

Moving your furniture

Before moving:

  • Empty all drawers and shelves.
  • Remove loose accessories whenever possible.
  • Close all doors and drawers securely.

Always lift the furniture from the frame with adequate assistance. Never drag the unit, as this places unnecessary stress on the structural connectors.

Indoor use only

This furniture is designed exclusively for indoor environments. For best performance, avoid:

  • Prolonged direct sunlight
  • Excessive humidity
  • Standing water
  • Outdoor exposure
  • Heat sources such as radiators or fireplaces

A stable indoor environment helps preserve both the finish and structural integrity.

Modular by design

One of the greatest advantages of a modular system is its ability to evolve with your space.

When expanding or reconfiguring your furniture, we recommend using compatible components and proper assembly techniques to ensure long-term performance and structural stability.
